Scarlet and Violet are the BEST Pokemon games (of all time!)

I've seen Pokemon Scarlet and Violet versions getting some pretty bad criticism lately, but I think they're missing the point. Even despite all the bugs and graphics, this is one of the best--maybe even THE best--Pokemon game ever, and here's why.

Scarlet and Violet expanded on all the things they tried and did badly in the past few generations. We had something similar to Raids with Gitantamax Pokémon but it sucked. They did it better now

I agree! I´ve never had so much fun playing a pokemon game and with the final story, gamefreak was just going crazy for pokemon standards

I agree with what you've said the experience and the fun never stop this game gave the players the freedom that they deserve. Legends Arceus was very good in terms of experience and they applied the same mechanic in this game, although the pokemon won't kill you and you won't capture them in the overworld however it still friggin good and my only issue with this game is that it was too buggy.

I agree with you. In fact i'd say that these games could have been top 5 pokemon games of all time if it hadn't been for all the technical problems.

I actually agree fully No one really likes it because of bugs but they don’t really do anything and graphics don’t matter and the storyline made me cry

Do not forget to say 'this is my opinion' ;) Call me crazy but these games are not using saturated enough colors, the region has almost no lore compared to previous ones, exploring vast but so empty environments gets annoying after 40 50 hours, the games look ugly as well. Take Sun and Moon vegetation, colors, setting, lore, Pokemon design. Objectively all of those things were better there. Instead on walking on copy paste blant textures surrounded by copy paste rock textures all over the place, I prefer a more refined and more delicate surroundings of a game in which I can get lost into.

sv are my favorite pokemon games, but personally arceus is a very close second and the only reason it's not first is enamorus
but both are awesome games, best games in the franchise imo

I actually think it was a great game. The things which were lacking imo, graphics and rendering aside, is the lack of interaction with the people/cities/towns.

Seems like they wide landscape of Paldea compensated for that aspect. I do also wish there were more puzzles.

All in all Scarlet had great storylines and I loved the Open World Element about the game.

I feel like you either got this game for free or where paid to say some good things. This is no where near the best game. The champion sucks, the AI is dumb untill the eilt 4 your rivle is basicly hop agin who keeps gettin surpised you can use super effective moves, and then there is how empty it feels with you not beinge able to go into like 70-80% of bulidings. And most the ones you can give you a scroll menu.
