This summer is going to be dominated by No-Prep drag races! Traxxas enters the fray with the RTD (Ready to Drag) Drag Slash! In this review, I go over all the details, and hit the scale quarter mile! I'm thoroughly impressed with the tech included to help people get started in no-prep!

Hey Matt, a belted tire will help performance considerably. That being said, be careful to properly warm up the stock tires so they're reaching optimal temps (use a temp gun to ensure they are somewhere in the range of 150-degrees). That's why that last pull was so much better - the tires were warm and had probably broken in - giving more traction 👍

I went to watch some r/c drag racing in Barto PA. today. I was immediately hooked. A friend of mine suggested I get this car as a starting point. My local hobby shop dealer Enzo, told me he had some coming in. I jumped right on it! What a killer lookin’ ride!

At $500 I would have expected threaded shocks. At very least rears.

I love how you back peddled near the curb but creamed what hopefully was a scrap lean body. Lol

She is a looker 100% the green is sharp, I think the white one is the "clean" looking one, either way awesome looking rigs! Traxxas put thought into it for sure, honestly I have always found the traxxas owner manuals almost fun to read over, they have colorful photos. concise wording that gets ya just wanting to get out there

no prep is gaining in CT. So much so that the big store there, RC Madness built a track this winter.

I’ll definitely be getting one when they come to Australia Matt 👌🏼

I'm vaguely interested, but I don't think I'll buy in just yet. Our local store just put in a dedicated track!

Sharp, I like it even though I probably go with the losi, I do like the fit finish better on the traxxis, the tires and tubs are more proportional

We don’t have much of a drag seen that I know of but that won’t stop me

Man I miss the days when the top of line decked out Platinum 4x4 with a front diff, 3 more shafts, and a couple hundred dollars of multiple high quality upgrades (including $90 aluminum shocks) was $100 less than this 2WD.

Another good one, Matt. That's a pretty cool rig for sure.

No interest in no prep but that body interests me as the wheel base looks about the same size as the Rustler chassis and I am interested in a low rider build which that body would be perfect for when the clear body set is eventually released!
