I was curious about this one because it did look like an interesting take on the card battling genre, but it’s a shame that it really doesn’t live up to expectations and that there is so much more bad than good. Hopefully the devs will be able to improve on their next project. Thanks for the review.

If it took you half an hour to beat the tutorial I feel bad for you. Story isn’t so important in this game. Gameplay is where it’s at. Has some unique mechanics. I mean of course your going to see your show from some of the same locations. If you haven’t finished the game why even post a review.

I bought this on the switch and overall it plays fine. Definitely needs some work. Visually I like it. Text size is good enough to read in handheld. However, I think I hit a bug or glitch. I’m in Denver doing a show and my game will not let me play any cards in the second act. So I’m essentially stuck. If I quit it just puts me right before I started the show and this is the second time I’ve re-did this so my advice is wait for a sale or some bug fixes.

I wouldve like to see more gameplay, card play. I dont care about story, voice, acting. Talk about gameplay.

I'm 3 Cities into this and already tempted to restart. The health/losing cards mechanic absolutely murders me if a performance drags on.

Dang, sorry to hear this was the game you were disappointed in. I'm actually excited for it and still am lol, mainly for the theme/art and some tweaks to the deckbuilder formula. I usually don't like deckbuilders but have been a bit on a kick recently w/ Griftlands and Tainted Grail Conquest. I think hybridization between deckbuilding and Darkest Dungeon character building is pretty neat. There are no real roguelite/like elements, right? Can performers get fired and you have to build up a new performer?

As for the re-shuffle = damage part, I watched some demo streams and I think the game promotes actually trying to expand your deck as much as possible, rather than minimize your deck size (like is the standard for deckbuilding usually). I think there's a buff you get as your deck gets bigger? This would make sense if you also take damage when having to re-shuffle. The game promotes hoarding cards. Whether or not that's easy to do, I suppose I'll find out.

Thanks for posting this review Cody. I am not very good at deck-building games, but I like them. You might recall i mentioned Neoverse on one of your streams. This one seems intriguing for its theme and unusual mechanics. Oddly, I just glanced at a positive review for this game, but still have the impression that it might be too tedious for my taste. I personally don’t mind weak narrative elements and world-building, as long as I enjoy the mechanics, but there seem to be some concerns in that area as well.

The concept looked interesting. It's a shame the game is not up to expectations. Thanks for the review. Great video as always.

This game is pretty good now I like all the strategy and planning required to get everything to work I would suggest anyone who likes complex deep games try this one.

Well that's a shame. I was looking forward for more on this one, even though I already own enough good deck building games to last me a decade.
Thanks for reviewing.

Seems like a game where story is of less importance than the gameplay, similar to slay the spire. I think there is an okay game here, might grab it on a discount (switch of course - home of all indies). Thanks for the review!

This looked promising in your previous video

Unlike other viewers, I considered this game the weakest of the bunch from the Top September indie games video. I have zero interest in any card-battler/deckbuilding game; might be connected to the fact I never collected Pokemon or D&D cards. Good reviews as always, but here's one guy you didn't have to convince :)
