This game is great. I personally don't find it fiddly. I have found that people get hung up on location (saint position and seating position along with associated symbols) the first session. After that it becomes second nature. It possess several concepts which actually make it stand out among adventure card games, which as a genre tend to all blend together somewhat after you've played a few. Don't let the mechanics stop you from trying this excellent game. I love this genre of game, and among those I've played this one is at the top. In a large group you can even run it as an RPG with a dungeon master (the game includes rules for this).

Wow. This game is fiddly ... I was hoping it would be more streamlined and story driven, similar to Arkham Horror LCG, but this looks daunting to run, and completely overwhelmed by its system. I haven't listened to your final thoughts yet, though, so I am very curious to hear your conclusions.

I'm fairly certain that at about 19:00 you don't have to actually move to get the investigate from Ruby's power. You may move, but I don't believe it is required.

You forgot to reshuffle the Woods, so the top card was the minion where you set it down during setup.

At 26:30 you had to avoid a gift which you did but you sacrificed it. Shouldn't it have been shuffled back into the deck as the keyword was "avoid" not "sacrifice". Yes or no?

Played this for the first time today and enjoyed it even though there were moments of confusion and mistakes being made.

It looks like you are assisting yourself in body rolls, but your body skill points up, not down. Hence, you could only assist yourself in rage, I think.

Seems incredibly fiddly.. I care about the solo play and narrative and horror (that's not Cthulu) but yeah. Bit frustrating!

There isn't a need to re-explain things so many times. I was hoping to see an entire playthough (quick victory/ loss) with explanations in this timeframe.
