I'm not a pharmacist, but I found this video fascinating. I have heard about the half life of drugs before -- hence some drugs work very quickly while others take a long time to build up over time and therefore take longer to start working. But I recently became aware that the same principle applies to the protein albumin. So I suppose that a person consumes protein, the liver then synthesizes albumin, and through the body's various processes the albumin gets used up and this can be tracked with a similar kind of half-life. If the model you described applies to albumin, it would be very interesting to know more about that. Thanks again for making this helpful video

How is the 50% clearance of liver and 50% clearance of kidney develops renal failure?

Important note:
At 0:31 you say that "Metabolism in which the drug is transformed into an inactive substance (...)"
This is only true for most Phase II metabolic reactions.

Phase I metabolic reactions do not inactivate the substance - often Phase I metabolism is used to convert prodrugs into active drugs.

So this is an extremely dangerous generalization to make 30 seconds into the video. Otherwise thank you for a great series.
