Banjo Kazooie | The Completionist | New Game Plus

It's been a long time since I did a Banjo Kazooie review, in fact it's been nearly 10 years. On this episode of New Game Plus we take a look at this classic 3D platformer with some insight from Grant Kirkhope.

Banjo Kazooie is a classic and a part of gaming history. And replaying this game has shown me just how much I continue to love it. Everything from the charm, the simple story, to the amazing music! This is what put RareWare on the map and you can recognize them with their more recent titles of Yooka Laylee and Sea of Thieves. But getting to know Grant Kirkhope has left me a new appreciation of the soundtrack and what the songs mean to him.

With Microsoft and Nintendo’s good relationship now, plus Banjo in Smash, I really hope we can get an HD remake of Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie to both Switch and Xbox.
