Cyprus Crisis and Haircut tribute

The island of Cyprus, (located south east of Europe in the Mediterranean Sea) in the month of March had under gone a financial 'haircut', which devastated and upset the locals. Cyprus was on front page news reports, and the top world news channels were discussing the events that were happening and displaying the outrageous scenes of just the area near the Presidential palace, without showing the world the other places or the day to day lives of the locals. Yes, the people were upset, confused and worried about their savings but that didn't stop them from shopping or going out for a coffee. When the banks had opened after 2weeks, the locals or those who live here didn't cause a fuss but instead showed the world that they were calm and stood in line without causing disruption.
