Great video. They’re not used much anymore because switches are so cheap, but it would probably have been good to talk about hubs and what makes a switch better (usually, unless purposely wanting to sniff traffic and such) than a hub.

can you do a video on difference between wifi6 and 6e and whether or not you should upgrade?

Nice video but you described a hub not a switch. If a switch does not have the mac address of the destination it sends an arp request to learn the mac address and then sends the frame only to the destination (switch) not all devices (hub). Keep up the great work !

I replaced my AC68 with the AC86U.

Behfor. Thank you again for such great information on switches. Now I have a question for you. In a small home network with about 12 wired connections, what would be better, a managed switch or a dumb switch. I currently have a netgear 16 port dumb switch with cat 5e run throughout my home. There are only a few things active at any one time. Thanks for your input.
