Do oil sticks and pan pastels actually fuse to the wax? If so....mind was blown and a new door has opened🤗
I noticed that your image changed in color with no explanation. Was there an issue?

Have you tried a baking paper transfer? For small items like those trees I really like that technique.

Just starting my encaustic journey. I have some regular tube oils (haven't gotten around to the sticks yet). Can the tube oils be used like the sticks?

Hi there! I’m thinking of taking one of your encaustics classes online. But I need one that will help with adding oil sticks and pastels. My problem is I’ll fuse it, but there is always a little pigment left unfused, because when I go to put a coat of medium over it... the paint brush picks up that pigment and contaminates my clear medium! Ugh! Do you have a class that would address those fine tuning issues?
