A Recap for "Infusing Physical Literacy into Physical Education: An Evidence Based Framework"

Physical Literacy Praxis (PLP) is a framework, based on evidence, that supports the growth of students’ physical literacy in physical education. The framework includes a trained educator who seeks to establish a positive climate for learning based on creation of a positive culture of movement; featuring meaningful student experiences; empowering students and staff; and integrating curriculum. Critical attributes from physical literacy theory are seamlessly integrated and nurtured in all four domains: physical, cognitive, behavioral, and affective. PLP provides an accessible and understandable structure for practicing teachers and administrators to recognize and infuse PL in their own PE programs.
