SADC calls for calm in Mozambique

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) is calling for an end to the ongoing political unrest in Mozambique, encouraging the feuding parties to engage in dialogue.

The current spate of unrest, follows the recent upholding of election results by the country's constitutional council which declared victory to the country's ruling party, Frelimo.

SADC is an institution of State, the State runs a country/countries, therefore State organ cannot “call”, it acts. So no action cause the same SADC will allege they don’t interfere in internal issues of sovereign countries. So why bother!

There is no need to just appeal them to embrace peace. But as sadc should intervene since there is no justice and the ruling party in taking advantage of power. But it's a shame that Africans always fail to resolve the problems of their sister countries they just watch from a far
