Shoei X-Fourteen Marquez Motegi 3 TC-2

This is a review of the Marquez Motegi 3 TC-2 design for the Shoei X-14/X-Spirit III. The design can be seen on Marc Marquez's helmet worn in the 2018 and 2019 Japanese MotoGP round.

The theme of this graphic design comes from Japanese traditional festival called Aomori Nebuta Matsuri or the Aomori Nebuta Festival. This is a Japanese summer festival that takes place in Aomori, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.

Aspects of the design:
- Top of the helmet - a golden 'Ant' motif
- Right side figure is a demon
- Left side figure is a samurai warrior
- Back of the helmet - the kanji logo means 'Festival'
- Gold chain link (either side of the chin bar) and black chain silhouette (front chin and forehead area) is based upon the Japanese traditional pattern seen on the clothing for the festival
- Above the rear spoiler - Japanese symbols of lucky charms including the lucky cat
