The layout of this island is so immersive. I wish I knew what this person's process is. I have such a love/hate relationship with AC because everytime I build something I like and then I have to move it... omg. How do people plan these things out?!

Putting sand down at the back is a cool idea, yeah.

I'm currently intrigued by the urban builds that block beaches but also manage to make it seem natural/like the island never ends.

I can say this is very much reflective of a semi-rural Japanese village/prefecture. It's spot on for that, so I think actually living in that kind of place, replicating it in game comes easily. For my city built I left the whole layout as the game generated it, and built with what I had, and I ended up with a good mix of city/neighborhoods, countryside/rural, and mountains/wilkdermess. Running around the map actually feels like you are traveling somewhere, doing something. If I spend too much time in the mountains coming to the city feels so unreal and with all my villagers walking around

I love how the way the furniture were used and positioned to make them look like "buildings" is so creative and cool! Personally, I feel that the island design gives me Silent Hill's fog world vibes but not in a scary way.

I'm watching this on silence because my ears are overstimulated so sorry if you mentioned this already but this island is modded right? I don’t have a switch so I watch AC videos and see fans have resorted to modding their switches to compensate for Nintendo's blatant neglect. I don’t know if I'll have the opportunity to get a switch but I still want to know if I'll be able to create an AC island like this city with no mods?
