Dye the parts. Leave it in for a couple hours and it soaks deep into the plastics.

Definitely dye the chassis black- I did it on my rustler and it looks really awesome. You should build it now with the parts you already have

I sprayed my chassis black with lexan body paint it holds up great ...

Good Start so far! Look into Pro-Line chassis saver! the 2wd truck likes to brake right at the rear shock tower i put it on 2 slash 2wd and have yet to brake one! other then that YES GO RPM nothing better! If you end up needing more stuff let me know i have a big ass box of 2wd stuff! and yes make it all Black looks a lot better then that gray!

If u dye them with rits leave them in for a long time and use two packs

nice build choice. I currently own a 4x4, but ive owned 2 2wds. for track running like you said, the 4wd handles better. but the 2wd is funner to bash with. very easy to control in the air with the velineon system. you should look at T-bone-racing. they have awesome bumpers for it.

the rpm frnt bumper is better i have one its more stiff and not flimsy like the stock one
