Would you know where Ringo Starr lived in 79? The place had a fire and Ringo lost a lot of his collectables. A celebrity limo driver told me Haslem Dr. Tried many times to find it but no luck. Watching your videos gives a little touch of home, now that I am now 400 miles away

Nice video yet again Tim. I knew all about Dave McGowan, his revelations about all these military careerists who fathered some very famous musicians. He knew all about that military installation on the top of the canyon too. His interviews are sooo interesting. And then, suddenly, he died, very mysteriously. Funny the way that often happens innit?

Danny Sugarman (The Doors Manager) and his GF lived on Wonderland Avenue, I do believe Iggy pop hung around with them too. As far as I know, no members of The Doors lived on Wonderland Avenue.

I want to stay for a week and see all those places. I actually know a musician who lived on Lookout Mtn. Drive/rd in the mid 60's. I told him about the McGowan book. I'm interested to see what he thinks about it.

My very first paying gig, during the summer when I was 15 and had been exiled to Hollywood to stay with my old man, was pulling dead bush (read: tinder) out of the rock face of the hill in back of a house on Wonderland co-owned by a Glendale florist and the bassist from Looking Glass. Dunno the addy but would know the house by sight.
