maam i have a doubt that you said that when drg neurons starts firing faster then it stimulate vrg otherwise not . but then how is drg neurons are stimulated at faster pace because the pre botzinger complex has a set rhythm .

maam if pneumaotaxic centre is stimulated by stretch receptors afferents to it, when volume of lung air increases above 1 L then how is it stimulated during rapid shallow breathing in which lung air volume does not increase that much
