The next time you raise a glass of fine wine, you might want to thank an owl for the quality of the beverage. That's because some California vintners are using barn owls to help protect their fields from rodents that destroy grape vines.

Owls work 24/7, they can not be avoided or resisted.

And they do their job for free

Informative video on a great species; we need more owls for vermin control and they’re beautiful, majestic animals!

This is a great video, but one important point was left out: the reason that gopher and rat baits are so bad is because of secondary poisoning of the predators that eat the poisoned pests. One poisoned gopher taken home to a nest of barn owls can wipe out all the chicks. We end up poisoning nature's FREE non-toxic pest control when we use baits! Coyotes, bobcats, hawks, owls, falcons, cats, all provide this service, but all are victims of secondary poisoning!
