LUC..I have been sending out email for reviews for a year, maybe 5 or 6 here an there, nothing. I just texted 20 people and received 12 reviews in 30 min. Again you have helped us a bunch. I chased up a client today (based on this advice) after they had initially had some trouble leaving me a review a few months ago. I sent them an sms and within a couple hours they had left a positive review!

Making it easy for them is key!

Wow, this is a powerful way to seek reviews. Using the short name option makes leaving a review simple for the customer. Combing it with a SMS makes it faster. Thank you for the tip!

WOW! Brilliant tip. With my clients, I contact them the day after the event (I'm an entertainer) with a thank you and a request to review me. A week later, if they haven't done it, I send the email again but I only do two emails. Just shared this on FB.

As always, great advice Luc. I have a 'word document' type app on the smart phone with multiple, pre-written SMS messages for different purpose and it allows for convenient cut & paste messaging. Text messages are defiantly superior to emails, when regarding reviews.

Thanks Luc. My Android now has a prewritten text message with a review link. I always make a point of telling clients I'll send them a text and an email with a review link. That way it doenst come out of the blue and they've thought about what to say.
