Great Bushcraft Blade for $60

I have had the QSP Canary for about 2 months now. First handled it about a year ago and I cannot believe the price point at only around $50-$60 for this much material and performance.

Used it at the Yurt during my vacation to break down firewood for several bonfires and it maintained a good edge while doing so.

The handle has a slight swell to it which is very comfortable to hold and the droppoint/ spearpoint with a swedge (where the metal becomes thinner at the tip) makes it a good piercer!

This is about as beefy as I would want to get for a Bushcraft or camp Blade. Great size for handling larger task but also not seem too obtrusive while on the hip

Favorite part is the unique rotating belt loop system, first time I have received a sheath like this and I love the variety of positions I can change it to. The rotating does take some force so it’s not going to move unless you are really pushing it into position

Blade: Cr8Mo2VSi(equal to DC53)
Handle:  black micarta
Overall: 9.00'' (228mm)
Handle:  4.75''(120mm)
Blade: 4.25" (108mm)
Blade thickness: +/-4.2mm ( finished product )
HRC: 59-61(1 HRC less if blade is black coated)
Net Weight: knife: +/-201g (7.09oz); sheath: +/-77g (2.72oz)

I’ve bought way too many knives lately 😂 you’re killing me. The price point is just too good!

I’ve always liked a drop point knife, that certainly looks to be a good one !

The good thing about spearpoint blades is the ability to drill holes in timber with, and that's essential for making all kinds of bush craft objects from a bow and arrow to creating a small fire pit in wood for friction fire starting, etc,

I got one for my wife. It is amazing. The quality surpasses some knives that I own three to four times the cost.
