The little Rotax engine in these things is simply amazing. I have just rebuilt one and it is easily the fastest and best handling 125 I have ever ridden. I was going to sell it as soon as I finished it but I just can't. I have to keep it.

Bought a used Aprilia RS 125 2 T from 1992 just for collecting it, since i am 64 and love the 2 strokes! Tried to have a ride just for fun and could not believe, The tachometeer was showing 162 kmh ! ! !Wanted to sell it becouse only 125 ccand wanted to buy a bigger one, but it is worth only 1500 € ! At this point decided to keep it for myselve and put it on a shelve in my house ! How many furniture in our homes were paid way much more than this motorbike and doesnt look any interesting nor even expensive.Whoever comes to visit me is for shure not interested in our furniture rather than to my motorbike !

I love this bike, this old round look, this 2-stroke sound reminiscent of large 4-cylinder engines, that is the only moped I would consider buying in the A1 class

Had a PCR shifter kart with a Rotax 123 engine with a Gilardoni 140 cylinderkit, 39mm dellorto and custom exhaust. Seriously quick, around 40hp depending on the circumstances.

Had an italian imported extrema 125 (rectangular headlamp) with 34hp. With a 16tooth it runs around 180kmh 👍

The power of 2 stroke💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 the hp that you can achive in a small cc engine is incredible, that why people loved 2stroke engine so much, and don’t forget the smell..the smell of the smoke is f addicted 😘😘🤣🤣

My Honda NSR 125r, original piston 65, 000km would get to 155kmh.
Those things were unbreakable.
But the Aprilia rs125 is not only way better looking but also a beast with a good 2000/3000rpm more. just reliability never had its back
