Sweet Dreams Played by Electronic Devices

Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This), played by eight electronic devices: two electric toothbrushes, three credit card machines, one toaster, one steam iron, and one electric typewriter.

You've given great name suggestions for the devices, and in this cover music video, I give one of the great names to the toaster.

In this video, you also see an oscilloscope standing on the electric typewriter. The oscilloscope shows some of the electric pulses that go through the stepper motor that moves the typewriter's print head.

Everyone should really appreciate the fact that none of these devices sound good or "recordable" on their own. Just getting a drum kit to sound good in the track is hard. This would sound like garbage if not for some very good mic placement, mixing, and mastering. This person has immense talent

People don't realize how difficult it is to make the music score sound correctly in each voice. Not only this guy is a genius with electronics, his music understanding is also impressive.

I just love how not only is the whole prospect of this channel mind blowing, but somehow, every single time, he makes it sounds legitimately amazing!

This is a banger for sure, no question, but can we talk about the fact the googly eyes are staying perfectly attached to two violently vibrating toothbrushes?

Sweet tooth are brushed by these
Who am I to disagree?
Traveling over your gum line seams
Every tooth is brushed by something
Some of them refuse to use you
Some of them felt used by you
Some of them they abuse you
Some of them found other uses for you

As a life long Eurythmics fan i applaud you for this. Very impressed with the toothbrush harmonies! I think even the Eurythmics would love how innovative this sound is. Back in the day they were forerunners of the new synth sounds.
Excellent

"In our crew we have: Bob Floss, Bready Mercury Ron."
Ron is the most average name someone could have given to an iron

As an IoT enhusiast I can only imagine how much work it required to make this possible. Every device is different and needs a new approach to become an instrument.

Amazing job. I love how you personify the devices you use, give them names and arrange them like a band. I lost it with Bob Floss. Complete with brown afro. I've seen disk drives and printers making music before, but the presentation here makes it all the more entertaining.

Bob Floss.... That's just amazing.

I had to laugh so hard that my coworkers wanted to see what I was watching, and they're now all browsing through your videos. Pandemonium in the office on Friday afternoon! 😁

I can't explain why but I love how this sounds every bit as much as the Eurythmics original.

Damn I can't believe Device orchestra went all this way from not placing googly eyes on devices to mere perfection

I was not expecting just how badass it is when that card machine takes the solo and starts spitting lots of tape. Awesome in a new way
