Testimonial of Ali Keshavarzi from Iran

Ali Keshavarzi is an Iranian student enrolled in the Data and Artificial Intelligence PhD-Track program at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). He is in the second year of the Master in Data and Artificial Intelligence taught at Télécom Paris.

Ali chose to study at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris because of its eminent professors, its state-of-the-art labs and facilities, and its international reputation. He also benefited from a PhD Track scholarship, which was another attractive feature.

In this testimonial, Ali explains what a 5-year PhD Track at IP Paris is all about. And he gives us his feedback on the first part of his program: the master's degree in Data and AI.

What he likes most are the courses that are both practical and theoretical. And he really appreciates the expertise and kindness of his professors. He did a joint internship between IP Paris and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst on adaptive learning systems. He also had the chance to explore and study various research topics such as computer vision, medical image analysis, deep learning and natural language processing.

Ali lives on campus and enjoys the green and vibrant campus of IP Paris. And on weekends, Ali explores Paris and visits its monuments, museums and art galleries.
