Why is it that throughout the entire Naruto series the Uchiha Clan were the main focus of the series. While other clans like the Uzumaki, Senju, Hyuga, etc are just pushed to the sidelines?

I can only imagine what the leaders of Uzumaki clan were capable of. Kushina and Karin, who didn't even experience real battles before, managed to use their sealing jutsu to a very effective degree and rival the power of tailed beasts. A battle-hardened Uzumaki veteran alone can start a war between villages. I highly doubt others would win if not for Hashirama and Tobirama
