Watch again: Boris Johnson sets out plan for living with Covid

Prime Minister Boris Johnson held Downing Street news conference as the leader sets out his plan for living with Covid.

The prime minister has announced a raft of changes to Covid rules, including ending self-isolation rules entirely and scrapping free testing.

From Thursday, there will no longer be a requirement for anyone testing positive in England to stay indoors, Boris Johnson told MPs this afternoon.

Instead, people will be expected to exercise “personal responsibility”.

During the press conference, the prime minister also reacted to Putin's announcement that recognised rebel-held provinces as independent from Ukraine.

Before attacking Ukrine, Russia has to warn Ukrine to surrender. If surrendered, it prevents lots of avoidable destruction. Annexation will be peaceful.
Russia has to build 2 kilometers wide corridors for people to walk or travel to safe place, non combat place. There has to be multiple corridors to connect to safe zones. Facilites has to be built for people to stay. This safe zone can be in Ukrine or Russia. Russians have to treat them as their own family members. They can be sent back after annexation is complete.
