Today I was reunited with my childhood dirt bike, it's been stored in a barn for well over 30 years. The restoration process will begin soon. My first bike, the one I learned how to ride on. Not one "like it" but the actual bike! : )

My first motorcycle coming from mini bikes. 1969 Kawasaki 120cc is all I remember, it was 10 years old when I got it. It was beat up and I fixed it up best I could as a kid. I rode it alot and it finally broke, cant remember what I did with it. Thank you for the memories :)

I had two of these, and turned one into a dirt bike. Took off the oiler, and went pre-mix, man this was a rocket. Fyi a total restore is 70 hours @ $50/hr plus parts including complete tear down, strip, re-coatings, re-chrome, re-assembly. Ball-park figure is $7 grand, and certified nos. We have a dealer who has a few dozen "nos" bikes on display over the offices on the show room floor. I have a nos Honda 1971 SL125 I'm working on, good luck you're way past the point to the good side of making her look great again. God bless.

My first rhode bike was a 97 ke 100 got it in 2017. Still have the bike. Runs great I've had dirtbikes before learned how to ride on a klx 125. Got my ke got my license and rhode all over with that little bike. I still have it and ride it time to time. I now have 2002 ninja 250 as my main bike but when I wanna hear the mellow roar of a 2 stroke I hope on my lil ke and away I go!

I still have my 71 Yamaha 250 MX since it was new, and 75 Husqvarna 250CR Heike Mikola replica from Malcolm Smith that came from Rolf Tiblen's school of motocross in 76, and my mom's 68 Sears PUCH 250 she bought new. All of mine are headed back to NOS. And since we're talking numbers, I've been blessed with 15 bikes, four 3-wheelers, and one Yamaha 600 grizzly, all needing care. Geese what a task.

I love these 120's. I had one as my 3rd bike growing up. But unlike most C2 owners, I grew up on my 120 in the early 2000s! Still have it although it sadly doesn't get ridden like it deserves to. With the aftermarket expansion chamber we have it's a real rocket ship of a bike.

Good call on the restro project, I was afraid you may part it. I wish I could find my 1975 MR 175 Elsinore , I would do the same
