Host the Lest We Forget exhibition

Scottish Refugee Council’s arts and heritage project ‘Lest We Forget: First World War – Refugees Then and Now’ brought together new and established Scots as Heritage Researchers to discover and document the arrival, reception and experiences of Belgian refugees in Scotland during the First World War from 1914 – 1918.

As well as uncovering the past, our Heritage Researchers captured their own experiences and understanding of integration today, with a view to shaping that of future 'New Scots'.
