Mr. Knopfler is almost 75 years old. So appreciative that he is still making music. Every album of his I have. The first Dire Straits album to me in 1978 when I was 15 year old was game changing for me. I am occasionally in the discussions of desert island discs, who would you want to listen to and I say modern, Mark Knopfler, classical, Bach. His more recent recordings have been about the common experiences that we all can relate to. As someone who is 60, I have made my bed, I have to live with my choices, I think about the road not traveled. But I also think about the music that has comforted me along the way. Dire Straits which is Mark Knopfler, has been my go to for all of these years. God gives us gifts. Thank you Mr.Knopfler.
