This might just be the best belt grinder build I’ve seen yet. I love how versatile it is.

22:40 "this kind of precision is completely unnecessary" Precision is always necessary. In everything. Always. I appreciate your precision and extreme attention to detail. I find it incredibly relaxing. Thank you

The clickspring of belt sanders. Outstanding. I don't do any shop work of any kind nor do I need a sander, but I now must have one like it.

Watching this video was incredibly satisfying, I very much appreciate the effort involved in creating and now building this tool. Thank you for the experience and your time filming and editing all the video as well. In total a true work of art, I am looking forward to your next build segment!

I saw a lot of belt sanders on Youtube, but I think what you made is the strongest, most convenient to use, and surprisingly safe, so I want to keep it if I can buy it. I hope you stay healthy and continue to share good ideas.

I only ever used cnc machines. this really makes me appreciate the care and caution that goes in to making parts the old school way. good job man!

I'm Blown away and deeply in love with this grinder. I'm also miserable because I can't go on without this now that I know it exists. My life has lost all meaning without this. Amazing sir well done!

popped in my feed couple of days ago. Always wanted to build a belt grinder and I will. Watched it today and it seems I have got a channel to finish. (catch up to or finish watching) Hats off my man. Used majority of 4 years of Engineering knowledge all in one video.(3 videos...)

OK... I must confess: I've watched them all. All the belt sander builds. I guess this also is the reason, why I got your video in my recommendations in the first place. But after watching 38 minutes, i've got to say: You earned a new subscriber. You're build outpaces every other belt sander. It runs circles around them. This is pure machine madness, better than a bought one. And It's actually doable. Thumbs up!

I think my favorite design element was the auto-locking tension arm, that's a really nice feature to have.

I watched your "7 Lathe Upgrades" video yesterday [4/1/23], and it reminded me of this series which I couldn't resist watching again. It's one of my top 5 favorites and more than likely it's #1—since this is the 3rd or 4th time watching it. Ironically I'm not a machinist, but it scratches an itch—something I notice in many other comments. God bless.

I could've watched this for another hour! Great video, and what an amazing craftsmanship!

In a 45 year career at all levels in engineering, I never worked for any man for whom "cheap" was not a virtue in design! I've subscribed.

I had a very stressful day today and I have to say it was very calming watching this. Well done.

You had me at "Inches give me nightmares"... That should be a check box in youtube advanced search to avoid obsolete content... the rest is pure gold. Thanks a lot for sharing your work.
