I know that collaboration is good! as much as solitude but what matters here is whether the people that are collaborating are the right people or not if you know what I'm talking about...

Often times, when you're stuck or trying to help someone, social groups are a great way to reach a solution. What kind of person are you in a group? I'm usually reserved and in the support mode but I can be the lead when needed.

When leading, read the group's mood, go from there. Sometimes you've got to move up the schedule and can't wait. And depending on the group, most you usually work with, smile but relaxed (so a gentle smile), look straight at the people you're talking to (and hold that smile), with a voice that people can hear you in but stable that you can control (volume all people can hear).
If you're working with more mature, strong-willed and experience group of people: exude confidence (use a memory of a time you did really well, recall that feeling and flood your mind and heart with it when you talk to them), apply all the previous methods with general kinds of people you meet, except your tone of voice is to be direct and only in the present-tense words (it doesn't have to aggressive or commanding, just use confidence).
When you get better at, leading is a learned skill / trait, not something you're born with, you'll get better at it the more times you do it with success (kinda of like public speaking). Negative experiences can turn you away but just try again, it's only for your betterment.
