The example you gave at the end does a great job highlighting how powerful Critical Penetration is; the fact the hit goes from dealing less than 10k damage on a non-Crit to more than 40k from Critting (before the hypothetical Protection), with almost half of that just coming from Crit Penetration neutering defensive stats, is nuts.

I love this so much, my intuition over the years I’ve spent playing this game had most of how this worked correct so it was a great feeling having my understanding be confirmed

This was very good for my math brain. I’d love small deep dive videos into “weird” characters behind the scenes if you’d be allowed to / interested in doing those, like thing or others that you can think of. Would be a super fun watch, thanks for putting this together!

Also crits are crazy 💀 probably why CG and CGR are so dominant, armor breaks with huge crits

Suppose,

Champ A: Base = 1000, using +400% Fury = 5000 current

Champ B: Base = 5000, using 0% buffs = 5000 current

Now if we apply a 20% attack boost to both.

Champ A:
+20% of base = 1000 × 0.2 = +200

New total = 5200 → +4% increase

Champ B:
+20% of base = 5000 × 0.2 = +1000

New total = 6000 → +20% increase

From my understanding of video, this is how it should work, please correct me if im wrong

So normal boosts or recoils dont affect the potency of individual attack modifier effects( like the ones Medusa, Beta Ray Bill, or Crossbones fury).
So if im Boosting a 6* Maxed ascended hulkling attack rating by 23%(considering a R3 gets 23% boost from R2), that doesnt mean his fury effects from Sp2 will be getting the same damage buff, as it is modified attack rating...

Very insightful. Handy when contemplating who'll get the best dmg boost moving to r4

I've been hoping for something like this to pop up for the longest time. Physical resist Vs Armour rating Vs Armour pen Vs attack rating has had me scratching my head forever. I will watch all of this 👍

Thank you for such a detailed overview!

I'd always been slightly confused about how duration modifiers interacted with DoT's, and this cleared it right up
