I would love to see cycling become as big here in GB as it is in the Netherlands. The Dutch have a huge advantage as their country is famously flat. Are there any steep streets in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht etc?

Is cycling in pedestrian zones, likes those city centers and plazas, generally allowed in the Netherlands, or just in specific areas?

I have noticed that streets in northern Europe have very few trees compared with streets in Spain, where I live and even Mexico where I was born. Maybe its because you dont want trees to take away the sunlight that goes through your facades, and here in Spain you cannot walk confortably on the street without the shadow of the trees. Thats also why our windows are smaller i guess. But i find it interesting, maybe you are able to change and improve your street design so much because you dont need to worry about trees so much. Just a thought

Er is geen echte lockdown tho. Of heb ik wat gemist? Iig wel sick. Ik heb 4 jaar op de HAS gezeten in db en nog nooit heb ik het zo leeg gezien
