Natural Light Beauty Portraits Using Continuous Lights // Nanlite PavoTube 2

Couldn't be more excited today to shoot these natural light beauty portraits using continuous lights from nanlite - the pavotube 2.

These lights are incredibly powerful and provide and what-you-see-is-what-you-get style of continuous lighting for your portrait photography.

Now, make no mistake, these are perfect for video production as well. Not to mention, with full control over the RGB color wheel, you can add a gelled photography look to your portraits in the same way.

This continuous lighting set up is perfect for studio lighting or on-location at a client site.

The light is really nice, at 1.2 or 4 (thank you for demonstrating that btw). How are these when shooting outside? They look a little easier to set up if you don't have an assistant.

This was one of my class submissions for SF24 where I use those with gel'd strobes...sort of a hybrid lighting solution! The Nanlites are super nice to work with!

These really look great! It would have been nice to see this setup (and a better sales pitch for these $580 (ea) lights) in use if the lighting in your studio didn't already have great light, and for that matter, the SAME light (quality and direction) as your getting with an expensive setup. No?

I am unable to set my minimum shutter speed on my canon 60d and I am trying to use aperture priority. My camera is choosing less than 1/100 which is causing motion blur, what can I do?
