Sorry for the low quality audio I try my best, sometimes you are in the middle of a good diagnosis but don't have a good microphone!

Thank you very much for posting this. I have the same module from a VW Beetle with the same error codes. I saw the same two resistors you fixed were cracked on mine but it still didn't work. I noticed two more 221 resistors on the back side of the board that also had cracked solder joints. These 221 resistors are 220 ohm resistors in parallel so the resistance should be 1/2 (110 ohms). On the bottom side, one of the resistors was connected but the other was not, so it read 220 ohms.

Amazing. 21st century auto repair; scan tool oscilloscope and high powered microscope. I wonder what percentage of modules fail in this manner. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your video. I have the same problem with my airbag module. Inspecting the circuit with a microscope I found a couple of resistors with what looks cracked connection to the board. Would you mind letting me know what type of stripper do you use to remove the conformal coating and which type of coating do you use to cover it again?
Thanks in advance

You need steady hands to solder something that small... well done! By the way, what's your mailing address? I have something I'd like to send to you.
