The model shown in this video is a 2018 Nissan Altima, but installation is similar on the other models.

If you push up from the bottom when removing it will make it easier to pop out then if you squeeze the middle like you did when installing it will usually slide right out with a slight wiggle. But sometimes ripping them to sheds is the only option

For Nissan 2020 altima you have to unscrew the top 3 bolts and the lower two bolts that hold the passenger glove box. Drop that down then pull the white plastic piece that holds the cabin filter.

Replacing mine and it seems like the filter isn't even in there or it's pushed forward like towards the front of the vehicle.. any advice?

I really want to know what the Nissan engineers were thinking when they put this. My issue is trying to put the damn cover back on the top part does not want to go into place. 😑😑😑

I paid $15 to have a local shop put it on for me because i couldn't get to it.i just bought a new one cuz its been over a year now and i might try to change it myself..

I can't stand cabin filters. If they're gonna make them a thing, put them behind the glovebox instead of UNDERNEATH OF IT

I just changed my 2020 sentra cabin had to take out glove box it was easy compared to how hard my 2018 altima is going to be 😅😅

Yeah, putting that housing cover in place is like wrestling a bear. Unless you are a small person with small hands, be prepared to spend a while getting it back in place.
