Black Friday is a term for the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the United States. Many stores offer highly promoted sales at discounted prices and often open early, sometimes as early as midnight or even on Thanksgiving.

In Malta, it has become an ongoing joke that stores here just push the prices up before Black Friday then make it look like it has gone cheaper during the sale event but in fact it just went to the original price. Most products are also those the were not sold the whole year so expect to be on a treasure hunt when shopping. Some stores have good deals but most stores either have very low discounts or you will have to spend a lot to get a discount.

☆☆☆My Personal Experience!☆☆☆
* Very crowded.
* Most store have low discounts.
* There are some good deals, just a matter of finding them.
* Most products are also not good so again, need to be a good treasure hunter.
* Store are trying to sell all the left over for the current year as new stocks coming next year.

wow, even Malta is on Black Friday mode like we do here in the States. I was in Milan in 2019 just before the pandemic & Italy has Black Friday too.
