Thank you again for this video. I lost my best friend to suicide 10 years ago, this month. She was beautiful, kind, open and generous. She was an artist and musician and taught me to be a better cook. And all too often a target for the emotional, physical and sexual violence that many people in the Trans* communities face systematically. She fought against it her entire life, going back to her childhood and was worn down and worn out by the battle. It would be my wish that Trans*/intersex folks find themselves in a much kinder, loving world.
The language you used strikes a chord in my heart - these were the names used against her when we would walk down the street. Hearing them hurled at people breaks my heart, every time, and I relive the pain it caused her.

Now like 6, 7 years later? Finding the Axis of Awesome again and finding out that as I have transitioned here you are looking so beautiful and strong!
