One of the most common roundhouse Kick mistakes people make is this:

🚫 Kicking in a circle. If this is your default kick, this has disadvantages. The main one being:

👎Reach is short, much easier to miss.

✅ Instead, kick “extended”, which means kick in a diagonal-forward direction.

👍 Kick to gain distance. If opponent lives back you likely still catch them, as you gain at least a foot in reach. If opponent doesn't move back, you land more shin anyway. Win win for you. Plus more weight by driving your hips in that direction which equals more power.

Just try it and if it's useful, keep it.... if it isn't, discard!

✅ 💰 A couple of bonus tips: snap shin at the point of connection and use shin and weight to rebound back into your stance.
