This tutorial will teach you how to add a super simple and lightweight modal popup to your WordPress website.

In my case, I'm using GenerateBlocks Pro and adding the code using WPCodeBox. You can use this on any WordPress page builder that allows you to add custom classes and HTML attributes such as Oxygen, Bricks, Cwicly, etc.

For anyone that its not working, make sure the Elements Hook Name is "after_content" or else this won't work. This wasn't mentioned in the video as far as I can see.

Instead of using wpcodebox to add the snippet can i use generatepress elements using hooks to add the javascript snippet and just add <script> at the front of the code?

I was wondering if this could be used as a off canvas also 100%/100vh height and adding maybe css sliding animation or javascript...hmm. Or does anybody know how to make custom off canvas with Generate Press....not mobile navigation i mean for other use cases kind of like popup but styled as a off canvas?

This is awesome - thank you for sharing. 🙌 One somewhat simple solution for me has been "Modal Guten Block" on the WP Plugin directory. Works pretty much out of the box with GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks.
