Honestly, part of me doesn't understand how I even managed to pull this off. Most strategies use Surtr or Silverash to burst the boss down aggressively.

But for me, I'm just like "All right, it's chill, just going to use Blaze and Thorns to hit the boss down. Also, Nightingale timing is super on point, getting the S3 off in time is so clutch."

And I was half expecting the run to fail because when I use the recording software, it tends to lag and screw stuff up. Nearing the end Red wasn't supposed to attack the spear guy, but lag made its hitbox slight to the right ever so slightly, enough to count as a splitbox.

"Arknights as a frame-rate experience is a mood".

Addendum: I think I get why this strategy works now.

What's important to note is that the last 4 operators targeted (in this case Nightingale, Ptilopsis, Saria and Blaze, since Ethan's trait makes him less likely to be targeted) are not directly adjacent to each other. When they're stacked together, the cross burst that happens at 2:57 will make them take double damage.

This double damage will mean retreating many operators, as you might have guessed from how much their HP bar drops. If Ptilopsis or Nightingale were directly adjacent to Saria at that point, the operators would have hit 0hp.

In other words, if I wanted a medic to support them for safety, I have to place it in the top-right corner of Saria, or bottom right of Siege primed at Nightingale and Saria. (and Ptilopsis, technically, if I were using Kal'tsit)

Kal'tsit is a decent medic for this, because she focuses on herself. She will always prioritise healing herself. I could also, for example, use Beeswax as an ignite bait to the right of Ptilopsis, she can bait ignites and cross explosions that way.

Feel free to use trust farm operators for baiting the ignites; less heal pressure on your team is always a good thing.
