Its good and all maam. But as a choir conductor, i stress on teaching my members the half notes. Not just like any random musician teaches the solfege, but in my version, i taught them in this way - doh de ray re mi fah fe soh se lah ta ti doh¹😊

Because if a song starts with a dominant C chord (which is doh-mi-soh), and one has to enter dominant D chord, one cannot use ray-fah-lah which would make it sound D minor. Point is, it should be ray-fe-lah to make it major...

Same goes with many other chords.
