You're the only reviewer that actually has balls to show example cuts from tracks on video, which I appreciate a lot. Great video

Confidante is about Paul’s guitar that he used to keep around and write songs on. He worked through a lot of issues writing songs on that guitar. Apparently he stopped using it. Hence, “You used to be my confidante”

Fuh you is one of Paul's finest work. Up there with Temporary Secretary, Wild Honey Pie, and You Know My Name.

I feel like ‘People Want Peace’ is a tribute to ‘Power to the People’ or ‘Give Peace a Chance’

So glad you've done a video on this album, it truly is a great McCartney album.

Loved the video, but Confidante isn't about a past lover, it's about his guitar(s)!

Got to see Paul live for my 17th birthday back in September in Montreal. He may be 76 but for an almost 4 hour show and sounding even better at the end than he was back at the begging. this is the #1 Album in Canada right now and well deserves it. My favourite track is Happy with you

In an interview with Jarvis Cocker, Paul McCartney said that Confidante is a love song to a guitar.

I used to listen to this CD all the time when it first came out. I loved it! I haven’t listened to it since, though. Now that I’ve been hearing snippets of these songs, I’m going to listen to this again. Off I go!

An amazing album, totally blew me away, it’s like an ode to the following albums: McCartney, RAM, Venus and Mars, Back To The Egg, Tug Of War, Press To Play, Flowers In The Dirt, Off The Ground & Flaming Pie. I really love Despite Repeated Warnings, that’s a masterpiece

Probably most people don't notice this, but I appreciate how the suits you wear go with the colour scheme of the albums you review!

Ceasar rock is one of my favorite ones off the album. It just sounds like a song from Revolver or the white album

Excellent, in depth review! I love the song samples and honest impressions of each song. So many reviews just spend the time praising or slamming an album as a whole. Excellent review!!

Excellent review, thank you so much! I first heard The Beatles on Christmas Day, 1972. My older brother got the 45 of I Wanna Hold Your Hand. I am so excited to get Paul’s latest on vinyl. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for your review. Well balanced and discussed. When you hear these sections it really emphasizes his incredible musical mastery. its like listening to mini symphonies....the compositions are amazing.... to produce this after how many decades....the well certainly hasn't gone keeps on keeping on....of course it certainly helps if you are a bonafide musical genius... i loved your review..thank you really enjoyed listening to this.

Took me a few listens but I really like it.
Opens really strong. A couple of songs I’m not that keen on but overall I like it.
You’re right about the opening to I Don’t Know, lovely piano piece. Would love to listen to a full length instrumental song going more in depth with that piece of music.
