Customizing What I Win out of a Claw Machine

Hey Guys! Today I am starting a new series (hopefully) where I paint or customize whatever I can win out of a claw machine. I finished my 3 part series a few weeks ago where I fully customized an entire claw machine. Now, I'm ready to fill it with prizes like accessories, squishies, plushies, tumblers, hats, bags and MYSTERY BAGS (ooooh!), so I have lots of options for customizing. What will I win this episode?!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 27 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. Hey Moriah, I used to be an arcade manager! There is a setting inside the machine that makes the claw stronger, so it’s able to pick up heavier items. Normally, the items would be generally the same size and weight so that they all have a fair shot of being won, but since you have many different types of items I would suggest turning up the strength so that you can actually pick up the heavier stuff 😊

Edit: wow this got a LOT more likes than I thought it would get 😳 To respond to everyone asking about a payout setting- yes, there is one on most claw machines. All of the settings are inside the machine door (where the joystick is) and needs a specific key to open it up. It shows how many times it’s ever won, what the average percent is for winning, and how many times it’s been played. And there is also a setting for automatic payout. Basically if someone hasn’t won in 10 games (the number is adjustable, but we always did 10) then the claw goes full strength so the next time someone tries, it *should* win if the aim is correct and the item isn’t too heavy. FAIR arcades would adjust the payout percent to about 20% but there are definitely lots that make it almost un-winnable so they make more money. The system to change all of those settings is kind of confusing but if Moriah has the user manual and could maybe find some tutorial vids for that model, she should be able to adjust it! Though I think for most models the strength setting is just a knob that you turn!

I think the Claw Machine might also be a good way to pick squishies from your donated squishie hoard... You could pick the bin(s), pour it in, and have a fun way to pick at random bc you never realllly know what you will get. Maybe it could even be a challenge to only use the squishies from the claw as the basis to make a cohesive scene, etc.... I like how you can try for something you might be interested in, but there is an element of chance and luck :)

This MUST be a series, it’s so fun and unpredictable. We can get squishies, plushes, and so many other things customized all in the same video. I also really like the randomness element because you never know what you’ll get and that can result in really cool customs!
