My dad let me use the mens room when I was very young and I had come out as a boy around the same time and there was never an issue. There still isn't an issue even when I'm at work and I end up in the bathroom with the security team. Really the only thing I'm concerned about high school bathrooms is harassment from immature students. (and possible assault)

That's ridicules.  I use both the boys and girls bathroom.  I walk into the boys bathroom, looking like a girl and no one give a fuck.  Do my business and leave and no one gives ever stopped.  I think the problem was James asked if he could use the males bathroom or something like that.  I never asked if I could-I just did and the students didn't care.  I did get a wtf look from the basketball couch once when he saw me leaving the male bathroom lol

Honestly just allow him to use the nurses restroom. Dont force him to walk to gas station or make him use the girls bathroom when he is not a girl and dont make him use the boys bathroom because that would make them very uncomfortable

I can usually go a long time without using the bathrooms. As I have a slightly larger bladder than usual. Staying hydrated but only going once before school and then a few times after school.

My suggestions are on a weekend. Test how time flexible your bladder is. How many hours can you go without feeling the need to use a restroom, while still drinking water.

Also, if your school is discriminating you like they did with this boy, james. please tell your parents. Dont go through that. It hurts you emotionally. And can effect your mental health. Tell your parents, or a teacher your close with and have them deal with it.
