Australian Brush-Turkey

Australian Brush-Turkey are found along the north-east coast of Australia. The subspecies on Cape York has a mauve neck pouch. They occur in a wide range of forest types, where they build a large nest mound of leaf litter in which to incubate their eggs. They eat fallen fruit, seeds and invertebrates.
