I first heard this song on the radio while driving but I was talking to someone at the time, so I wasn't paying that much of attention to the lyrics. But just seeing the word "unholy" on the screen and hearing the choir singing, I instantly had pictures in my mind of a man cheating... I would say it's creepy that the song is about that topic but I wasn't surprised to be honest...

Weird thing is I heard a few seconds of this song months ago. I didn't know who sang it nor the title as I only caught a little bit of it. But I was so captured by the chord structure and melody. Just recently I heard it again and found out it was Sam and the title. Came home and searched YouTube for the video. As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was about. Funny thing is it lead me to this page which just re enforced my thoughts.

The first time I heard it, was just this two second hum of the intro by a coworker. I’m not even lying and just those chords kept playing in my head that whole day to the point I wanted to ask what the song was…just today I came across this song and video and the damn thing wouldn’t stop playing in my head for hours either. It’s deeply unsettling.
