i do hope they add something for cxp by drifting. i usually only race for so long until i just head off to drift most of the time, will be a fun way to get cxp too instead of having to race every car for so long

the wheels changing isnt a bug, its to decrease the performance load, as high quality 3d objects spinning fast takes up a bunch of resources. thats why forza games switched the wheels to a 2d image when exceeding a certain speen. iirc

I've got a pretty nice rx7 set up... able to drift in auto for beginners aswel as manual.... got a simple but nice vinyl set for it too

I seriously wonder what did they mean when they said "made from ground up" - menus? Old inaccurate car models are still here (they did remodel 22b though), blurred rim tech is still the same. It looks and runs worse than FH5.

I found drifting to be easier on this game then horizon because you can get insane angle with rwd cars before you spin now and if you do start to spin you can just get off the gas and the car will eventually start straightening

The driving physics aren‘t great everytime. Lots of stock cars are impossible to drift unless you install drift parts. When you look at car review, they can drift the hell out of an stock Subaru BRZ or Porsche Cayman. In the game they are extremely snappy when oversteering. You get tank slappers a lot which doesn‘t feel naturally.

I'm not trying to hate, but most of that looked more like power sliding than controlled drifting. You can tell the setup needs major tweeking. The car should rotate around its center of gravity instead of punching it to get the ass end to kick out but ya got so much grip your only option is to huck it into the corner doing 75 in 5th gear. Again, no hate, just pointing out some areas of improvement.

Such a shame they don't have VR support. It's 2023.. Tons of people have VR headsets now. I just can't go back to screens ever again..

What setting do you recommend that when I’m playing the builders for example using the M3 that I can set it that if I have traction control I can slide it around corners of I wish, I feel a lot of the cars don’t really wanna slide or drift around turns

Try it on a proper wheel set up with simulation settings. It’s not easy

They down graded my subie 22b bro ! The max tire width profile is 265 now ! Wth ! It use to be 275, even upgrading the body parts like bumpers sideskirts and spoiler was limited to my damn 22b sti ! What a let down !
