There is racism, extremism, and discrimination in the military today. So, it is the right thing to do for the leaders of this organization to do something about that. The general is right to first study, learn, and be open-minded about what can be done to help reduce and eliminate this big problem. Anyone who is against that is just trying to ignore the fact that the problem exists. If you ignore it, the problem can't solve itself.

This video is delivering an editorial in the guise of the news. This is misleading. The general has every right to speak his mind just like the Senators and other congresspersons have every right to speak their minds. This presentation frames the exchange as a though the Republicans are the bad guys. Very very bad journalistic ethics involved here, as editorializing should be noted as such. The framing of the news is just as important as the content and can be used against anyone, no matter what their political affiliation. This is coming from a non Republican.

Is he paving his way towards a political office? Seems like it to me. How many wars has he won for wearing all those stars on his shoulders, stripes on his sleeves and insignia on his chest. We have not won any wars, battles, fights, confrontations since wwll. Thanks to Dwight E. who deserved and won the presidency. I was there and listened to his speeches. These are college-age classes, not elementary students being indoctrinated, who should be able to take a class or course and decide for themselves what they will or will not embrace as their worldview. The general responded extremely intelligently.

The general is right! You can't stop an addiction unless and until you accept that you have an addiction. We have race "inequality" in our society period. Accept that first, understand it, and then take action to get rid of it. That's the right thing to do for our melting pot society.

I would have simply asked General Milley if he remembers the cold war against Russia. When he said yes, I would have then said -Certainly you would not have expressed your political views with other service men when you joined the military would you? When he said no, of course not, I would have said so you have moved up the ranks of Americas military, all the while secretly having socialist, communists political views. Tell me General Milley, when exactly was it that you came to be a full fledged communist?
