Everyone will have a new free legendary champion - Sun Wukong from 22nd August.

Heeeey-hey-hey you rascals!
I want to shed some light on the persona behind the new Champion teasing you this whole time, which will be added to the game shortly via 7-Day Loyalty Program - Sun Wukong.

Faction - Skinwalkers
Rarity - Legendary
Type - Attack
Affinity - Spirit

Sun Wukong will be a pretty versatile Champion that can be built either as a classic Damage Dealer or as a Crowd Control Champ via ACC.
His main place to shine will definitely be PvP content.
Sun Wukong is the first of his kind with the ability to place Polymorph that is not related to Blessings but built into his skillset.
A unique Passive skill allows him to make some powerful combo with Valkanen thanks to the auto Revive ability, which will definitely come in handy on the team with that fella.
Moreover, Sun Wukong increases Ally SPD in Arena Battles by 28%.

Sun Wukong will appear in the game tomorrow. And you will be able to get this Champion by logging into the game for 7 days straight, starting August 22nd and up until October 23rd.

Assuming Polymorph always overrules stoneskin like the blessing does, this A2 could be a massive anti-UDK move. It even got revealed on his birthday, poor guy

I think he will be used more for support than for DPS. stun A1 + steals all buffs from all enemies and places block buffs + speed aura + self revive = high ACC and possibly stun set support champ.

This may be stupid but what happened if he died by Ronda's second skill? Will he still revive? Also, he should've been given Brimstone and void affinity; he's a god after all.

Just a guess, but I think Wukong might revive after three other characters take a turn. Otherwise he'll be getting cooldowns back while he's dead, and he'll be the only champion in the game that does that.

My skinwalkers faction is currently the weakest right now being carried by Fayne and Scabrius. This is great.

On his 3-turn death counter, I am reminded of the old Everquest days playing a Monk and using "Feign Death" to pull mobs. You would grab agro, lay down and play dead, and the agro would go away. Then pop back up and pull them back to the damage dealers, or pop them with some quick DPS.
It seems this might be a similar mechanic. Not really dead - just out for three turns. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the enemy squad moves on for 3 turns if Wukong is the last champ alive on your team????

Yes! I think I can speak for everyone when I say I’m happy they give us a Skinwalker. My worst faction by far and this little monkey will be very helpful 👍

My guess for the passive is that when he dies there will be some sort of stand in “image” of him with a ticking turn meter bar but that’s just a guess

I know this character is like one of the Main Heros in "Among Hero's" RPG, and another Raid-Like game on Google Play, really didn't expect Raid to have it's own version also

Besides the sheep and stun with his passive and block debuff he might be a good Hydra dps. His passive might go off like the Hydra Consumption where it's accumulated turns.

Turning someone into a sheep is very lore relevant. They should also have baked in polymorph REMOVAL or redirection to caster into his passive.

I wonder what happened to that "attacks with clones" bit that was on the earlier leaked info we saw. The "now you see us" skill sounds like that was what it may have been?

AOE 2 turn block buffs on a 3 turn cool down mixed with the 30% mastery to add another turn to your block buffs means hydra heads stays with block buffs on. Just have to try to 100% provoke on the head that cleanses and youre good

I think both otherwise this will be broken when paired with a ignore 50% def..

Sun Wukong is based on the original Monkey King, from chinese mythology.

He is basically a god, so yes his turn meter is still ticking.

That A2 is nuts just to land polymorph at will. This will be a complete game changer in live arena for any level. I don't even care about the damage part. Full accuracy build with some survivability and this guy is gonna rule live arena. If you think about it, this will change the way live arena is played. Now, players will just ban the nuke and let a Kymar, or Duchess pass hoping they can land this polymorph at the right time. Speed tuning him will be key, but it will change the live meta for sure IMO

perhaps the passive counts the turns of other champions as well similar to how turns are counted in turns taken in a dungeon run
