Orient needs to pump out a GMT like yesterday. C'mon!

I like the chrono, but wow, that burnt-orange Mako looked really nice!

Glad to see more solar powered watches from brands. Perfect blend of being reliable with longevity.

I like the railroad second markers on the dive watch. And the chrono does seem like an interesting counter to the Seiko Speedtimer, particularly on price. But those bracelets probably won't win too many fans. All in all, good to see Orient progressing over time....

Mako 2 (black dial) is my first mechanical watch. At first considered Seiko 5KX's, but needless to say, I have no regret whatsoever to finally landed my choice to bought it and wear it daily as my beater.

Had no worries acquiring scratch here and there on the watch considering the price, yet knowing its build quality provided assured me that the little guy can go everywhere, anytime. And those 'tear' only give certain characters uniquely mine, added with its distinctive 6912 arabic. "This is my MAKO 2 !", I proudly showed to people when wearing it.

Such a strap monster, from rubber to leather, handsome on nylon/nato(s), in any colors!

Very proud that Orient continue this lineup by releasing Mako 3, hoping that this variant heritage as affordable (for the commoners)-high spec (desk)diver watch will continuously grow strong as years gone by.

I'm looking forward to see your full in depth review for this new little guy!

What a cool couple of watches. I love my Red Kamasu. I wish I had another wrist and room in my collection.

Very nice watches. Love that burnt orange dial! I'm actually wearing my venerable orange bezel Mako XL as I watch this. 12 years old and absolutely perfect. Still one of my favourite watches.

That close up of the orange Mako sold me. It's a great looking Orient.

Absolutely love that Mako in Orange, shame they are so hard to get in the UK.

Have a Ray 2, but I've weary of going with another Orient due to the crown. I wish they'd change it up, make it a lil bigger or get rid of the crown guard all together.

Most excellent, doood! The 24h hour register will help all of us who dwell in total darkness! If they can get their chrono all charged up that is 🤔.

11:58 You need to hold the case at 90 degrees perpendicular to the caliper arms when measuring lug to lug. I question your measurement of 45.6mm.

The Ray and Mako are not actually dive watches (according to Orient) but dive style sports watches. They fall short everywhere when you look at the ISO standard, from the thin springbars to the water resistance. They still look good though but I gave mine away because of the tiny crown and difficult to grip bezel when it was wet.

Very cool to see the new releases on the Mako family; the four new Mako III, two JDM uniques and the chronographs (into which i would like to see a GMT bezel instead - but i won't be picky). A lot of attention and a lot of colours. I hope the traditional Ray family get some upgrades like sapphire as well, and i would definitely like to see a Kamasu GMT to complete generations I and II.
Orient is doing great things in the $160 to $300 range.
