I hope you enjoy this video. This is my seventieth "WHATS IN THE BOX" kit review and I hope to be completing this model when i have the necessary skills to do it the justice it deserves in a bout 10 years time. I have a model collection/stash of 33-40 1/72 Spitfires which i am currently building badly for the amusement or to the annoyance of my fellow Youtubers, As my competence levels are not sufficient to complete this model it will be held in reserve for when i deem the time is right. If you would like to see the of 33 Spitfires there is a link to my collection below. As a novice modeller my intention is to learn the various assembly techniques and skills required, especially that of painting, so as i can produce half decent looking models, I concluded the best way to do this is to start with something simple, personally i think the best way to learn a new skill is repetition; try, try and try again. Hopefully by completing these 33 Spitfire models i will learn a few tricks of the trade. Whilst doing this I am also hoping to improve my VERY basic Youtube skills, so far just uploading these videos has resulted in tantrums of titanic proportions, yes unfortunately i am also techno-phobic.

Follow me on my novice modelling journey whilst I try desperately to overcome my midlife crisis. Questions and suggestions always welcome. Please like and subscribe and follow me on my ride!

Hi Andy. That is a big job of a kit. There's a lot of it. A model like this needs to have its interior shown off, so don't glue the roof on. Leave the doors open too. This is a kit for an experienced modeller. There's a lot of work in this one mate. Good luck.

Hi Andy. Do yourself a small favour, put the glazed parts in a small plastic bag. That way they won't get scratched by the other sprues when you move the box around. Good luck mate.

I purchased the IBG Canadian Otter Scout Car and ended up getting 2 extra sets of wheels out of it. I was interested in seeing if that was the norm with IBG or if my kit was a one off for getting extra parts. It was good build, very enjoyable. It was a little bit fiddley in spots but nothing too drastic. I had a good time with it.
